My academic career is interweaved with my Professional Career and is correlated with its evolution. I hold a Master in Electronics Engineering from the Technical University of Iasi,  a Master in Management from the Boston University and a PhD from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

At the moment I am affiliated with the The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the The Neaman Institute at The Technion. I do academic research in the areas of Entrepreneurial Finance and Economics of Innovation. My intellectual mentor and subject of admiration, but also a good friend and carrying fellow is Prof. Eugen Kandel. I owe him, in the first place, the decision to start the PhD at age of 50, and the motivation to withstand the academic requirements of the program without hesitations. Many other colleagues in the academic community had a direct, even if not always cognitive, impact on my academic career: Dima Leshchinskii, Isabel Tkatch, and Flavio Toxvaerd are just a few to mention.
